Anderson Environmental Services has been providing geologic and hydrogeologic expertise for environmental
and water resource investigations since 1973. Anderson Environmental Services provides an innovative approach to your
project, in which a clear understanding of the surface and subsurface geology can and should, be used to your benefit
in understanding groundwater flow and chemical transport mechanisms.
Stephen Anderson, M.S., P.G., C.Hg. is the principal hydrogeologist for Anderson Environmental
Services. He has over 40 years of professional consulting experience in water resource, contaminant hydrogeology, and
geological projects throughout the western United States, Texas, Louisiana, Gulf of Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Korea.
The two projects highlighted on our website demonstrate the innovative hydrogeologic problem-solving that Mr. Anderson has
used on large-scale projects, benefiting client long-term project needs.
Recent projects include surface water and groundwater projects for water resources (Kern,
Orange and Los Angeles counties), land development clients (Newhall Ranch), California Environmental Protection Agency
Department of Toxic Substances Control (Hardhrome Products), City of Los Angeles (Chatsworth Park),
former Shell Agat Teminal Guam and Port of Long Beach (Toyota Expansion).
Anderson Environmental Services will
team with other professionals (i.e., geophysicists, paleontologists, biologists, and engineers), as needed, to effectively
support client project needs. In addition, Anderson Environmental Services will locate subcontractors for drilling,
